Jun Asahara (順麻原, Asahara Jun) is the soft spoken, newly appointed Lieutenant of the Eighth Division within the Gotei 13, and serves directly under the leadership of her Captain, Kazuma Atsuhake. To those among other divisions within the Gotei 13 who are often unfamiliar with this particular young woman, one may easily overlook Jun because she is not a very talkative individual and at times is considered to be very aloof or unaware of her surroundings due to her inability to see. However her subordinates within her division know better than to take their Lieutenant lightly, Jun is most notable for her very acute sense in hearing, smell, and is highly sensitive to spiritual energy, making her a very observant individual; possibly even more so than anyone with all working senses.
