The UNSC China Lake (FFG-151) was a UNSC Navy Talos-class Frigate, commanded by Commander Steven C. Meeks. The warship operated under the Office of Naval Research as a weapons testbed, and primary asset retrieval vessel. Due to its importance to the Office of Naval Research, the vessel was equipped with a Shield Generator - capable of absorbing a large amount of damage before collapsing to recharge.
