Colin Alexander Patterson (born May 11, 1960 in Rexdale, Ontario) is a former ice hockey player in the National Hockey League. He played hockey for three years at Clarkson University before signing as a free agent with the Calgary Flames. A skillful defensive forward, usually playing left wing, he was a finalist for the Selke Trophy in 1989. He joined the Flames in 1983, and won the Stanley Cup with that team in 1989. After leaving the Flames in 1991, he played two seasons for the Buffalo Sabres, then one year in Ljubljana, Slovenia, for HDD Olimpija Ljubljana, before retiring. In 2005, Patterson was inducted to the Clarkson Athletic Hall of Fame.
