Simplicity Designer's 8147; ca. 1949; Misses' One-Piece Street Dress: Four set-in godets animate the slightly flared skirt of this wearable tailored dress. The straight sleeve is set into a blouse which features double lapels of self fabric and a conventional collar which can be worn up or down. The belt of self fabric is tailored. Version B has short sleeves and turned-up cuffs and a self fabric belt tied in a knot.
