Brent Gilchrist (born April 3, 1967 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada) is a retired Canadian ice hockey forward. Gilchrist started his career with the Montreal Canadiens in 1988. He also played with the Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota North Stars, Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings, and Nashville Predators. He won the Stanley Cup in 1998 with the Detroit Red Wings. In 792 NHL games he scored 135 goals and 170 assists. He also scored 17 goals and 14 assists in 90 playoff games.
