Michael McMaster is a writer, director, and a member of the R2 Builders Club since 2001. At the behest of Star Wars Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni, McMaster constructed a fully articulated, life-size model of the astromech droid character Chopper for reference in creating the animated series. McMaster's final product was built in about eighty-seven days.
