This template, shows an overall view of the war itself, as the map game progesses it will be updated by the mods and the game creator. I have found this much better than using a map, since it would have to be constantly be updated during the duration of the war. When the war ends, a map will be added to show the results and the aftermath. Just because some countries are on one side DOES NOT mean that they are working together, it means that the countries on the right are the agressors during the war and the countries on the left are the defenders.
