Plo survived the battle at Cato Neimoidia, and he escaped the planet circa 18 BBY. He soon found out that the Mandalorians led by Pre Vizsla, the Death Watch, were fighting against the Empire. He soon became second-in-command of the army. But the Death Watch lost the war, and Plo went to Dorin with some Mandalorians to reform the resurrectors. So the Mandalorian Resurrectors allied with the Alliance to Restore the Republic and they fought in many major battles with them.
