The Dark Eye is an enemy that appears in the Dawn of Souls and succeeding versions of the original Final Fantasy, they're probably a reference to the Dark Eyes from Final Fantasy III. Like its predecessors, it is of the Water element and usually uses the Gaze attack to Paralyze the player's characters. The Dark Eye often appears behind a large group of Sahagin Queens. The Dark Eye is a teal palette swap of the Bigeyes.
