an Entity in Data Space: dbkwik.org

Name given to the French oversea department whose borders followed the St. Laurent river in North-America. The department only had a brief existence and its territory was re-absorbed into the province of Canada at the creation of the URP. The name however lived on and was used by a few local republican groups over the years. It is also from this department that stemmed the name of the patois (Laurentien) spoken by a majority of the population in modern day Canada.
