According to Professor Dementor, the Pan-Dimensional Vortex Inducer created a chaotic vortex that was a contained disruption in the very fabric of reality, and could effectively wipe out an area the size of the state of Nevada. Kim and Ron later referred to this vortex simply as a black hole.
