Let's Go to Fred is the first quest in the Sakum's Trace series. Guard Fred is located at the southern end of the region. Provided you take the main paths directly to Guard Fred, the enemies encountered will be fairly low-leveled and easy to kill/evade, should they attack you. After talking to Guard Fred, it may be worth your time to accept another quest series he offers: Rebellion of Monsters.
