Graham was the manager of the supermarket in Rochdale where Kylie Platt had been reported for shoplifting in January 2015. Having found photographs and business cards among personal possessions in the offender's bag, Graham contacted Audrey's salon. When David Platt and Eva Price arrived at the supermarket, they discovered that Gemma Winter had posed as Kylie in an attempt to beat the charge. David saw that Gemma was in possession of Kylie's bag and demanded answers. Gemma admitted that Kylie stayed with her but disappeared when she fell out with Callum Logan after Christmas. David took Kylie's bag and left Gemma to the police.
