The High Lister was a version of Lister created by the triplicator. Like his colleagues, the High Lister had all of his negative aspects removed. He wore a hooded white robe and sandals and bore a star and crescent moon design on his forehead. He carried a small pouch containing pulses and curd for the refreshment of others. High Lister invited his original self and The Cat to join the Highs in the sleeping quarters, which they had renamed the "meditation chamber", for an evening of poetry and music. He played a harp for the dance of "Agony and Truth".
