The Eye of Hathor was the title held by the loyal servants of the Goa'uld Hathor and would serve as her eyes and ears like she did when she was the Eye of Ra. These individuals were trained to act as her spies and were her most trusted Jaffa who were tasked to travel to many other worlds on missions of importance for her. Though they were well trained in the arts of war, they were equally skilled in subterfuge and espionage. They were often deployed as spies and saboteurs for her cause rather than act as warriors though they were capable of fighting in direct confrontations against their mistresses enemies.
