Shrek is a video game based on the first installment in the Shrek movie series. It was released exclusively as an Xbox launch title on November 14, 2001. This is the first Shrek video game to be rated T for Teen by the ESRB. The game was also noted for being one of the first commercial titles to make use of deferred shading The game was minor ratings hit gaining a mediocre rating of 5.6. The game was only released on Xbox but a port of the game was released on Nintendo Gamecube shortly after.
