Jer is the Store manager of King Toot's Music Store. He first appears in "Lisa's Pony" in Moe's Tavern. Homer drinks instead of getting Lisa a reed for her saxophone. He realises that he only has five minutes left and rushes to King Toot's Music Store, but it has closed early. Homer returns grumbling, insulting Jer, the owner. Homer begs him to open the store, but Jer refuses. However, Moe Szyslak reminds him of the time he saved his families life, Jer reluctantly agrees, but says they are now even.
