Wall safes of this variety are found in the Thieves' Guild, where four of them can be cracked. They don't give coins like their Rogues' Den counterparts but hanky points. Also, if you fail cracking one, no damage is dealt because the floor trap consists of rubber spikes. A stethoscope is used to increase the success rate of cracking the safe. These can be purchased from Martin Thwait, who can be found wandering around the Rogues' Den. They give mediocre experience compared to Coshing volunteers or even Pickpocketing volunteers and are so usually left alone.
