Logrin was a giant who inhabited and terrorized the Perilous Forest. He was enchanted that if he was slain he would rise again unless the man who slew him slept on top of his body. Loholt, the son of Arthur slew the beast, but while sleeping on the body was himself killed by his uncle Sir Kay, who took the giants head and claimed credit for killing the monster.
