Denev was a Human male who had a long history of military service. He was a veteran of the Battle of Endor, serving as part of Han Solo's strike team targeting the Death Star's shield generator. Later, he left the military and served as a mechanic and captain on Caluula Station. During the Yuuzhan Vong War, he fought at Caluula Station against the Yuuzhan Vong.
