Lady Edunata Mayano was a luarin noblewoman of the Copper Isles. She was a lady-in-waiting to Princess Imajane. Lady Edunata was infamous for taking a raka man as a lover, and then later claiming he raped her. As revenge, Aly suggested that the raka conspiracy use forgeries of Lady Edunata's handwriting and well-placed items to make it look like she and Prince Rubinyan, Imajane's husband, were having an affair.
