The Venii are an avian race native to the Milky Way who only emerged from extreme isolation at the conclusion of the war with the Der'kal. Skeptical and wary by nature, the Conclave only joined the Alliance of Great Races when confronted with the potential devastation they would face if the Der'kal and their allies were allowed to emerge victorious.
