William Corey Dietz, informally known as Bill Dietz, is a science fiction author, who wrote the Dark Forces trilogy, which consists of Dark Forces: Soldier for the Empire, Dark Forces: Rebel Agent, and Dark Forces: Jedi Knight, based on the computer games Star Wars: Dark Forces and Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II. He was also slated to write Escape from Dagu, but the novel was cancelled.
