The device is a telecommunications port with satellite up-link, allowing its controllers and operators in Knothole to interface and speak to anyone on the planet. The device resembles a tree with technology built into it, and was originally made for usage in the Kingdom's global war against the Eggman Empire. The only known Technolotree was presumably destroyed, along with Knothole, by the Egg Fleet. (StH: #130, #175)
