The Starship Battles Starter Set was released in November of 2007 (with a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $39,99. This starter set contained eight randomized starship miniatures and two exclusive miniatures: the Executor and the Viscount (from the New Jedi Order Era). It also included the starship miniature's full-color game stat cards, a fully illustrated two-sided battle map (space outside Coruscant/Tatooine), a 20-sided die, a rulebook, two fleet commander cards as well as Damage and Command counters.
