Lacoda was a group of Lambda-class T-4a shuttles operated by the Alliance to Restore the Republic and carried on the Rebel MC40a light cruiser Planka. Shortly before the Battle of Hoth, Planka attempted to retrieve Assassin-class corvettes Dagger 1 and Dagger 2, which had been ensnared by Rebel type B ion cannon minefield M2. A pair of Missile Boats destroyed the minefield and the fighters the cruiser launched. When the cruiser itself was about to be destroyed, it launched the two shuttles of Lacoda group to evacuate its officers. The Lacoda group was also destroyed by the Missile Boats.
