The Darkspear Rebellion is an uprising starting with the trolls in the Horde against the dictatorial and violent rule of Garrosh Hellscream with the rest of the Horde and much of the Alliance joining in for Battlefield: Barrens. In Patch 5.3, Vol'jin, leader of the Darkspear Trolls, has all but declared war on Garrosh. Seeking aid from both the Horde and the Alliance, Vol'jin works closely with other racial leaders to overthrow Garrosh and return Orgrimmar to the Horde.
