Lucy Hannah (née Terrell; 16 July 1875? – 21 March 1993) was an American supercentenarian who is validated as the 3rd oldest person ever , supposedly one of only six people to reach 117 and the oldest African-American person ever. At the time of her death, at the age of 117 years (claimed 118), 248 days, she was the second oldest living person behind Jeanne Calment (who was five months older than her) and is the oldest person to never hold the oldest living person record.
