Before evolution, Hydra was a Zweilous that Emerald caught in Victory Road. Hydra is skilled in Special Attacks and long ranged fire, his Dragon Pulse and Dark Pulse pack a huge punch and can be very nasty when he uses those two combined. His Flash Cannon is coverage against Fairy and Ice-types and is known to also pack a punch if not able to knockout in one hit.
