Al Brown was a fictional character on the first series of the Beverly Hills, 90210 continuity. He appeared in the episode A Walsh Family Christmas. Al was the biological grandfather of Steve Sanders and the father of Karen Brown. When Steve called his diner, Al was quick to hang up on him without explanation. When Steve showed up and announced himself as Karen's son, Al softened and explained to Steve that she had died. He later took her to Karen's grave. Steve asked him to keep in touch and he agreed.
