Paul Kevin Turner (born June 12, 1969) is an American former professional American football fullback in the National Football League for eight seasons for the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles. In June 2010, Turner was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis also referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease. He is now involved in research that links chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) to ALS, agreeing to donate his brain and spinal cord when he dies.
