The first king of Highland, Maroux Blight was a Harmonian noble by birth who later proved to be a key figure in putting down a series of uprisings which were choking Harmonia during the 230's, a period later referred to as the Harmonian Civil War. After the final sparks of rebellion were stamped out in 237, Hikusaak granted Maroux the title "Defender of the Faith" as well as the Platinum Spear, a Harmonian national treasure.
