Chao are a race of mystical beings native to the Sonic X Zone who share a special bond with Chaos. One Chao, Cheese, is the constant companion of Cream the Rabbit. Other Chao were companions to Chaos and Tikal, and appeared to fight a group of corrupt Chao created by the evil Dr. Eggman.
