Iemos is the name of both a region of dry grassland that sits in the foothills of the Brazen Peaks and the forty foot tall date tree that stands in the centre of this grassland. The tree is said to have grown where the dragon slayer Jonnaphar Ahallt fell after killing the blue dragon Daghov. The tree shares the good nature of the hero who died, protecting good travellers who come to rest near the tree. Iemos has been known to animate the grasses and vines or even alter the weather to protect its charges. As such it is a very safe location for a good hearted traveller to rest.
