The Ohalavaru are a Bajoran religious group whose name translates as "Ohalu truthseekers". It was given to those members of the Bajoran faith who believed in the Ohalu texts which were considered heretical by others. (DS9 novel: Unity) In 2376, Vedek Solis Tendren was the leader of the Ohalavaru movement and his supporters were pushing for him to run for the position of Kai against Vedek Yevir Linjarin.
