Clive was accepted into Rogue Squadron by then cadet Dack Sedar. He flew in several training missions to get to know his squadron before flying as Green Leader during the Liberation of Drukenwell. H flew in that battle with distinction, and for it gained the rank of Lieutenant and became the XO of Rogue Squadron. Unfortunately he was unable to fulfill his duties as he was forced to take a six moth leave of absence due to family problems.
