Madame Sadako was an actress who became the owner of the Silver Okasan, a geisha house in the village of Mimura. Her idiot son Busiko worked the front. The most renowned of her six geishas was Kanemitsu. The real money of the business came from the opium and services given in a room only for selected patrons. She tried to sabotage her competitor Otaki, who run the Blessings of the New Year.
