Spike's Soldiers is filled with the unwanted masses of the lawless groves of Sabaody Archipelago. Coming from all walks of life, the thing they have in common is their choice to rely on gang activity to get by, as well as their rebellious disdain for the government and its affiliates. Lead by Spike, who has made a name for himself in the lawless groves as the Street Punk, and respectfully admired by his followers as 'Boss,' the gang makes a living by beating up bounty hunters, Marines, pirates, slave traders, and other low-lives in Sabaody's underworld. The money they gain for their efforts is usually looted from those they have mugged. The gang is mostly made up out of freed slaves that Spike has rescued; often leaving them in debt to their leader.
