In was first printed in Japanese in the Weekly Jump magazine. It was reprinted in volume 20 of the Japanese graphic novels and volume 13 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist in English. Marik Ishtar heads to Domino City for the Battle City tournament. While he does so he sends his Doll, who is equipped with "Slifer the Sky Dragon" in the direction of Yugi Mutou.
