The Burden of Guilt is a side quest in Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening. A merchant in the Blackmarsh betrayed several young women in exchange for treasures from the Baroness. Overpowered by guilt, he soon killed himself. The merchant's suicide note contained a map to his hidden cache.
