Lieutenant Mitchell "Mitch" Buchannon is a character from the famous american television series Baywatch. He is one of the main semi-retired head lifeguards who gives the others their assignments, trains new recruits and organizes new lifesaving methods. At the end of the first season of Baywatch Hawaii, it seems he was killed in a boat explosion in Hawaii. But as seen in the tv movie, it was only a coma and he survived. In seasons 1-10 and in the reunion movie he was played by actor and singer David Hasselhoff and will also be portrayed by Dwayne Johnson in the upcoming film version.
