The Lazon II labor camp was a labor camp for prisoners. In 2371, Thomas Riker was to be imprisoned for the remainder of his life as part of a deal made with the Cardassians. (DS9: "Defiant") According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 46) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Stellar Cartography", p. 18; "Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), there was a star system named Lazon, in which this labor camp might possibly have been located, in the Alpha Quadrant. The system's primary was an A-class star. According to a map of the Cardassian Union – prepared by an anonymous astrography clerk, from the Cardassian Central Archives, in 2364 – Lazon was identified as a Cardassian system.
