The Valorous Unit Ribbon was the most senior unit decoration in the Glorious Armada of the Golden Empire. It was awarded to a unit for "conspicuous gallantry in the face of the enemy, above and beyond the call of duty", and was treated as having equivalent criteria as the Star of Valor for an individual. The Crown of Deliverance, Hero of the Golden Empire, and Cross of Keltrayu were only awarded individually, leaving the Valorous Unit Award the highest unit award the Armada issued.
