The Jade Lotus was a sect of monks in the heart of Crab lands that grew the lotus blossoms used in Tea of Jade Petals, which was capable of surpressing and hiding taint for short periods of time. The monks were known for their discretion, but in reality they had very close ties with the Kuni Witch Hunters and Phoenix Inquisitors. The monks gave the names of those buying the tea to the hunters who began to monitor those who used it. They were content to leave the harmless tainted alone, but had found many more dangerous tainted individuals and brought them to justice.
