At the Academy on Gallifrey, Rummas was tutored by Delox and Borusa. Rummas stole a TARDIS and left Gallifrey to explore the universe. Rummas first met the Doctor at a party on one of the moons of Korpal, but he was too drunk to remember the exact circumstances.
