The Firestorm Crisis was the name given to the war against CABAL and several actions leading up to it. It was so named for the Firestorm Taskforce, newly formed by General Cortez, and headed by a young commander pulled from Project Lazarus. The task force was active for several months, and was formed in January of 2031.
