The Commission on the Future in General and Democracy in Particular (known as the Republican Commission) is the special task team established by President Travis O'Neill of Washingtonia to research, investigate and determine the future of republicanism in the Kingdom. On 7 February 2013, the Grand Washingtonian Assembly passed the Republic Resolution, giving an optional mandate to the President to do research on the viability on democracy and a much more ceremonial monarchy in the country. King Randall I Washington officially approved of the Resolution through Royal Decree 1722013 on 17 February, and the President created the Commission on 28 July 2013.
