Diane Teel is a former NASCAR driver from Seaford, VA. In her career, she competed in eleven Nationwide Series events and earned two top-tens. She was the first female driver in series history. Teel's debut came in 1982, when she competed at Martinsville. Starting positions in the field of forty are unknown, but Teel kept out of trouble for the most part and finished 26th. She improved quite a bit as the season wore on, adding up finishes of 15th at Richmond and 8th at Langley.
