Phillip R. Allen (March 26, 1939 - March 1, 2012) was an American actor who played the part of a policeman investigating the death of Sabrina at the hands of John Yeager in the 1970 PT episode 1034 of Dark Shadows. Allen is best known for his portrayal of Captain J.T. Esteban in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. Among his numerous television roles was an appearance alongside Johnny Depp in a 1988 episode of 21 Jump Street.
