The Cardilia was a variety of plant grown in the plant biology lab aboard the USS Enterprise-D. In 2367, Keiko O'Brien was doing an isozyme study on some populations of Cardilia but they turned out to have some really weird polymorphisms, which caused Keiko some headaches.
